The Economy
There’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon. Data reported this week indicates that consumers like you and me spent more last month than economists forecast. Our own Laurie Siebert CPA, CFP may have hit upon the reason – income tax refunds are much larger this year. That being the case, we may see consumers continue to spend more than anticipated, perhaps, even to the point the economy will be supported until the effects of the Stimulus Bill kick in.
This is only “hope” and I do not yet recommend speculating by becoming more aggressive with your investment portfolio.
