Although it looked very different this year, without a wrapping party or group delivery, our team put together 35 Holiday Hope Chests for Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley. We were also able to sponsor additional online gift purchases and wrapped boxes to help the program supply a happy holiday to thousands of local children through non-profit distributions. “Our goal was 35 boxes as a nod to our 35^th anniversary as a local and independent business this year,” said Judianne Harris, Chief Marketing Officer. “Members of our team really went above and beyond using creative and safe approaches to make a meaningful contribution.”

Welcome Zaesha Boirard to Team VNFA!
She will be working remotely from the Bethlehem office as Administrative Assistant for the Tax Department. She will be responsible for coordinating processes across the tax team, and managing client data, documents and communications. Zaesha joins the team with many years of administrative and client service experience, and she is committed to the VNFA client -first culture.

Our team is excited to announce that our partnership with WDIY will result in a donation to Second Harvest Food Bank for 12,362 meals. As part of the radio station’s Fall Membership Drive, VNFA sponsored an incentive whereby every $100 pledged to support WDIY triggered a separate, direct gift to Second Harvest. Thank you to everyone who gave in support of both non-profit organizations!

Our team is pleased to welcome Tim Richmond, CPA to Valley National Financial Advisors in the full-time role of Tax Preparer.

Tim joins VNFA with 15 years of tax and accounting experience. He has a master’s degree in Business Intelligence from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics/Finance from Muhlenberg College.

Tim will work as part of the VNFA Tax Department headquartered in Bethlehem. He will begin his work with VNFA remote as our offices remain closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Team VNFA invites you to be part of our Holiday Hope Chest donations. November is upon us and our team has made a commitment again to create 2020 Holiday Hope Chests.

The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley’s annual program gathers shoe boxes filled with gifts for nonprofit organizations to distribute. This year, more than 9,000 boxes were requested from agencies across the Lehigh Valley. Learn more at volunteerlv.org/holiday-hope-chests

Team VNFA is pleased to once again partner with WDIY 88.1 FM during this membership drive to help Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania. For every $100 WDIY receives in donations during the membership drive, Valley National Financial Advisors will fund 21 meals to individuals and families in our community. This virtual event has us spinning, running, walking, swimming, and tallying up our miles in celebration of Community Bike Works’ 25 years of their Earn a Bike program.
