Valley National is pleased to again partner with WDIY and Second Harvest Food Bank to help feed those in need throughout the Lehigh Valley.

During the WDIY Fall Pledge Drive – which kicks off on October 8 – every $100 donated to support WDIY will trigger an automatic contribution by VNFA directly to Second Harvest to pay for 21 meals. Last year, this partnership resulted in a donation to fund 12,000 meals!

Congratulations to our Assistant Vice President, Finance & Accounting Elizabeth Wilson, CPA! She was honored yesterday by the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA) with a 2018 Young Leader Award.

This program recognizes PICPA members under the age of 40 who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the accounting profession through their active involvement in the PICPA and community activities. Elizabeth and the other 2018 award recipients were recognized at the PICPA Leadership Conference and featured in the Fall 2018 issues of the Pennsylvania CPA Journal.

Elizabeth joined the Valley National team in 2014 as Corporate Controller. Today she is part of the executive leadership and tax management teams in addition to overseeing all the corporate accounting and planning for the Valley National Group of companies.

New Jersey Office Update

As many of our clients already know, Senior Vice President Frank Stettner, CPA, CFP^® and his team based in Valley National’s New Jersey office spend time in both our Phillipsburg location and our Bethlehem headquarters. Moving forward they will be scheduling regular weekly hours at both locations for consistency and the convenience of our clients. If you would like to have a meeting at our Phillipsburg location, please schedule in advance with your service team as the office will be closed to walk-in visitors on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and Wednesday mornings. Calls and other correspondence will be automatically re-routed to our Bethlehem office on those days during office hours.

Valley National Financial Advisors welcomes Simone Sanvito as the firm’s newest Associate. Simone graduated from Hofstra University in Long Island with a Bachelor of Business Administration as a double major in Finance & Accounting.

Simone will work out of Valley National’s Bethlehem office where he will be completing exams required in the financial services industry while learning about the business and assisting with important projects.

“Simone completed two summer internships with us, so he is already familiar with our team and some of our processes,” says Matthew Petrozelli, CEO. “During his time with us, he demonstrated the talent, passion and dedication that our client-first culture requires.”

Originally from Arcore, Italy, Simone came to the United States in 2011 as a high school exchange student and later moved to Long Island, New York to attend Hofstra University. Having visited the Lehigh Valley frequently in recent years, Simone chose to relocate and establish his career in Bethlehem.

He is currently pursuing a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and is also interested in a CFP^® (Certified Financial Planner™) designation in the future.

Outside of work and education, Simone’s passion for the past 10 years has been playing the drums. He is also a soccer fan and his favorite team is A.C. Milan.

This month, VNFA marks nine years of “Your Financial Choices” on WDIY. The first broadcast of the radio program hosted by our own Laurie Siebert on 88.1 FM was September 30, 2009.

Introducing the Valley National Client Access APP available for free download on Apple and Android devices. The APP allows you to access and view your eVault Client Portal with the same login you have been using on your computer.

APP ACCESS DETAILS

1. Devices must have at least iOS 10.0 or Android 6.0 operating systems.
2. Search Valley National Client Access in the App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Click the icon after download to open the login screen.
